Role

Responsible for the finance function of the companies 9 entities around the globe you will have a range of key responsibilities that can be broken into the following key areas:

Reporting & Compliance

  • Parent company (WPP) reporting & compliance.
  • Statutory reporting in various markets around the globe
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Management reporting
  • Tax
  • SOX compliance

Legal & Human Resources

  • A strong knowledge and experience in legal and contract review is required.

Business expansion & management

  • Working with CEO, market heads and leadership team, managing the expansion of Buchanan within financial guidelines.
  • Ensure markets and offices adhere to internal financial policies and procedures.

Leadership
Due to recent structural changes to the business, you will be leading a relatively new finance team who have been involved in the transition of the finance function from Australia to Canada.  Leading the finance function during this phase of the business, managing individual and team priorities and ensuring the finance team work with the broader business will be key to your success in this role. 

International travel is required as part of this role.

Qualifications
  • High levels of initiative, self-motivation and time management
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • 10 years of relevant work experience preferred  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
