The successful candidate will lead one of our key global market in Singapore, working directly with the world’s top FMCG companies and their agencies, to grow our world class web platform, hometersterclub.com.
Home Tester Club is a social community of main grocery buyers who rate, review and test grocery products. 

The focus of this role is on business development, successful candidate will be required to generate client meetings, client presentations, campaign management and reporting, ad-hoc client requests, client billings & associated sales tasks. across a range of global clients.

The right person will be motivated, proactive, highly dependable and have a passion for media and advertising coupled with loads of enthusiasm and drive to deliver fantastic results for both the clients and Buchanan Group.  They will demonstrate strong communication, organizational and time management skills, responding well to direction and following through with confidence and accuracy to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

Role
  • Lead business development with new clients and become the go-to Singapore expert on our platform.
  • Drive sales and growth of local client base, focusing on clients and agencies in Singapore.
  • Build client relationships to provide repeat business
  • Act provocatively to create opportunities for new business
  • Achieve targets and plan for long term growth.
  • Work effectively with global offices in learning and growing the Home Tester Club community in Singapore.
  • Learn and develop industry knowledge to establish new areas of opportunity with potential clients.
  • Work closely with account and project teams in Malaysia, Australia and Toronto, for business development initiatives, project planning and implementation.
  • The role will report to the Malaysian General Manager, in Kuala Lumpur
Qualifications
  • High levels of initiative, self-motivation and time management
  • Competitive and ambitious nature, demonstrating a strong aptitude for sales
  • 5 years minimum of work experience in sales, account management, media and advertising preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Marketing, Advertising/Media/Mass Comm or equivalent.
